Kate was absolutely wonderful! First, our engagement pictures were fabulous. It was so fun for us to get to know one another and my husband really appreciated her guidance and sense of humor. Kate also designed and crafted our wedding invitation suite. One word…incredible. I had given her an idea for our monogram and she went above and beyond. Fast forward to our wedding day and every detail was captured so beautifully. Definitely a 10/10 from start to finish and every detail in between.

I’m all about organization. I had a larger wedding party, with more groomsmen than bridesmaids. I was nervous about how the flow of pictures would go. Haint Blue is just as organized as she is talented and wedding day pictures flowed beautifully.
When I received my gallery, I was so excited to see that dreamy glow on all my photos. Nothing was too harsh, too bright (I’m so pale), or too fake! Not every moment was picture perfect, and those are some of my favorite memories. The pictures tell the perfect story of our wedding day with each perfectly captured moment.
When talking to other brides looking for photographers, I tell them this. I was worried that I wouldn’t find a photographer we meshed well with. That all my photos wouldn’t turn out because of how awkward I am around strangers with a camera! I met with Kate and it was like a match made in photography heaven. One of my bridesmaids is using Haint Blue for her wedding and being around Kate at our wedding was what sold her. She laughed with us, always had an available hand, and went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. It is hard to put into words how much we loved working with Haint Blue Collective. Kate, the designer behind the company, was a dream to work with – From our save the dates to wedding invitations to thank you cards to day-of signage, Kate’s incredible artistic ability was undeniable. Three months after our wedding, our guests are still commenting on the beautiful invitations and calligraphy. It took us a while to narrow down exactly what type of aesthetic we wanted, but Kate was so patient throughout the entire the process – Without question, she was always willing to make any tweaks or updates in a timely manner! Kate was such a blessing to work with for our wedding, really a godsend. In the process of choosing and working with wedding vendors, you can easily find yourself feeling like you’re just another number and wonder if you’ll get the quality and care you deserve for your very special day – not with Kate. She was so helpful; answering my many questions about the process in a timely manner, so transparent; letting me know what would look best based on what I wanted, and so incredibly patient as I came back to her with tweaks throughout the process as things changed on our end. She really seemed to care about the project as if it were her own.
I absolutely loved the way my invitations came out and we received so many compliments from our guests. We even had guests who saved their envelopes because of Kate’s beautiful, handwritten calligraphy. Very last minute, I asked Kate to help me design a welcome booklet. We didn’t have much time and I knew it was a lot of work, but Kate delivered and the booklets came out perfect. We also incorporated Kate’s work on our reception tables and it made the entire look complete. She listened to the vision I had and translated that into all the pieces she worked on for me.
I couldn’t have been luckier to meet Kate. She’s such a talented, caring, and professional person to work with and if I could go back and do it all again, I would choose her every time.

Kate was wonderful. I got her name from a mutual friend because he knew I was not seeing anything I liked in term of wedding invitations. I was able to look at some examples of her work and knew immediately that she could make this part of planning a wedding incredibly easy. This was a second wedding so I did not want to go the “traditional” route for the invitations. I also had no clue what I wanted, that is where Kate was a life saver. I told her the basics of what I wanted the invitation to say and a little bit about my personality and I let her be the creative mind. She nailed it. The invitations matched us perfectly and her special touch with calligraphy made them personal and as beautiful outside as the actual invitations were on the inside. Any chance I have in the future to use her creativeness I will let her take the project and run with it.
