Kelsey and Jackson’s wedding day was full of everything you could ever want – incredible florals, unmatched scenery, perfect dress hues, waffles and bacon. That’s right…waffles and bacon. It’s what we all want and never get! Waffle House was at the reception and the guests couldn’t have been happier. Well done to both of these families for putting together a perfect weekend for their wedding party and guests.
While I’m here, let me tell you a little more about The Barn at Smith Lake. Ask anyone who knows me, it’s all I could talk about for weeks. It was simply the most perfect venue. This space was clearly designed for modern weddings and photography: sweeping views, tons of natural light and interiors that make you want to call your contractor and re-design your entire home to match it. The main house is called The Glass House and for good reason. While the bridal party was getting ready, there were grand views of Smith Lake all around them. Each other cottage on the property has at least one wall of gorgeous venues, providing the best light and scenery for the guests. With many cottages on one property, it allowed for the wedding party to all stay in one location while being separate. I was so impressed with this venue and want to shoot here again and again!
